Metal Apotheka is created in 1991
Metal Apotheka is a company with 100% Aragonese capital, owned by the Pina family. It was born as such in 1991 by the hand of Miguel Pina Garcés (Metal Estudio) and Joaquín García Vela (Grupo Apotheka). Initially with the purpose of supplying the pharmacy sector with drawers, at present it manufactures metal components for the main industrial companies in Aragon. In addition, Metal Apotheka maintains the manufacture of four models of chest of drawers for pharmacies, which it distributes in countries in Europe (mainly Spain and Italy) and Latin America (Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Uruguay, …)
In 2000 Metal Apotheka
Acquires the first combined cutting machine (laser-punching) for its Cadrete center, for the subcontracting of sheet metal cutting. The continuous investment in machinery of the latest technology, of great precision and reliability, means that Metal Apotheka currently has 5 automated cutting machines (laser, punching and combined) and 9 bending machines. The productive area of the Cadrete center exceeds 9,000 square meters, with the possibility of expanding into neighboring lands. On this surface we carry out cutting, bending, welding, assembly and expedition work.
In the year 2003
At the same time, in 2003 and in the El Pitarco industrial estate in Muel, it installed an epoxy-polyester lacquering tunnel to finish steel and aluminum, becoming the first plant in Spain to obtain the most internationally recognized quality seals: Qualicoat, Qualisteelcoat and Qualideco. The incorporation of machinery to apply the “wood effect” by sublimation to aluminum sheets and profiles complemented the installation, being at present one of the leading plants in the Spanish market in providing this finish. Recently, a 3D sublimated installation was incorporated together with a specific plotter for this use, in order to provide three-dimensional sublimated pieces of great quality and durability.
We want to reduce energy consumption and our carbon footprint.
